It was an easy and breezy start to this week due to it being a bank holiday Monday, so the 4 day week kick started on Tuesday with my first ever meeting with a client.
The meeting was scheduled with an occupational therapy company who need guidance on their social media strategy.
To prepare for the meeting I wrote a series of questions which would help me to understand the company in depth, and what they wanted from social media.
After much discussion of their goals and targets, my job is to now go away and create a social media proposal which will outline how Nuttersons can help improve their online presence with a written strategy. The meeting was a definite learning curve for me as I’d never met with a client or done anything like this before, but you’ve got to start somewhere. Getting thrown into the deep end has certainly made me understand how a successful client meeting should go.
This week I also attended the ‘SEO Masterclass,’ organised by Centre for Enterprise.
I have to say, even though the event was only 3 hours long, I got more out of that session than some of the day-long events I have attended. I have written a full blog post which is available to read here. I would recommend everybody to attend this event. I know I’ll certainly be first in line if I hear of a similar event held by the same organisation.
We also celebrated Lydon hitting the big 1-8 this Friday.
We celebrated by filling the office with balloons (much to Holly’s dismay as she has a fear of balloons), cake, after work drinks, and more cake.
